Staff

Steve has been a pastor for over 24 years. He has served churches in Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, and Mississippi. He is a gifted preacher and teacher. Steve’s passion is to help God’s people truly live into being His people: loving God with everything they are, loving others, and making disciples. He has been a full-time college professor and still teaches adjunct for Asbury Theological Seminary, Wesley Biblical Seminary, and Asbury University.

Pamela has been in ministry for over 24 years. Her focus is on Spiritual Formation with an emphasis on growth in grace and the transformative power of God in the lives of believers. Together, she and Steve have four children. Three are students at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, and the youngest is a sophomore in high school.

Leo was a high school band director and principle before he became Music Director at First Methodist.

Brittany works for the Mississippi Department of Health. She is a native of Waynesboro. Brittany is married to Brandon and they have two children.

Cathy joined First Methodist in 1963 and has been an active member ever since! She has been church secretary for over 12 years.

Cheia is from Wayne County. She has worked in the Wayne County School system and at Wayne Academy.

Carolyn has been playing music for churches for over fifty years.
