Waynesboro First Methodist Church

First Methodist Church was founded in 1858 as a Methodist Protestant Church. We have had a long and fruitful ministry in Waynesboro. We have seen God at work in bringing countless people to faith in Jesus Christ, raising up at least six pastors, two missionaries, and three bishops. In 2023 we decided to separate from the United Methodist Church and join the Free Methodist Church.

As a Free Methodist Congregation, our mission is simple:
